Emily is a multi-faceted designer who loves balancing design's artistic and logical aspects. She strives to balance form and function. She exemplified this in college as a Creative Advertising major minoring in both Studio Art and Math-- an unusual combo! Her career started in visual display as a Display Artist for Anthropologie, a brand renowned for its windows and displays. She also worked at a residential interior design firm in Washington, DC.
Emily went on to the founding of Deerly Co. in 2019. In her favorite role yet, she serves as a designer and strategist for brands needing an aesthetic eye to create a brand that beautifully and authentically depicts the company while strategically communicating to the target audience-- blending art and science. She truly gets to know you, your mission, and your ideal audience. Focusing on keeping brands cohesive and polished, she designs Showit websites that elevate her clients' presence because every business should have its own corner of the internet.
Emily also runs and contributes to the Deerly Co. lifestyle blog that believes in living life by design, not by default. We empower others to cultivate a life that feels nourishing and to be intentional and explore topics from design to wellness and self-improvement.
