3 Juice Recipes to Put a Spring in Your Step

Happy spring! Warmer temperatures, longer days, and new produce in season are all reasons to celebrate —- and these three juice combinations are sure to keep you energized, aid in detoxification, boost immunity, and put an extra pep in your step. Sounds like a win-win to me!

Morning Boost

Your body will thank you for this stomach-soothing, energy-giving juice recipe that tickles your taste buds in a way that regular orange juice never could, and provides you with plenty of vitamins and antioxidants to get you through your busy day.

Additionally, did you know that carrots contain high amounts of Vitamin A, which acts as a natural sunscreen and moisturizer by protecting the skin from burning rays, and removing blemishes and rough patches from within?

What you need:

  • 4 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 apples
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • ½ bunch of parsley 
  • ¼ lemon or lime

Directions:

  1.  Wash all produce well.
  2.  Add all ingredients through the juicer and enjoy!

Tropical Immune-Boost

Pineapple is loaded with nutrients like vitamin C, fiber, vitamin B2, B6, manganese, and potassium —- which all play an important role in bone health, immunity, wound healing, energy production, tissue synthesis, and perhaps even some protection against cancer. Combined with the immune-boosting effects of cucumber, celery, and lemon —one cup a day will keep the doctor away!

What you need:

  • ¼ pineapple
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. Wash all produce well.
  2. Peel lemon and pineapple (optional) or scrub very well.
  3.  Add all ingredients through the juicer and enjoy!

Liver Love

The liver is responsible for over 500+ functions in the body, and this highly intelligent, special organ works incredibly hard for you, day in and day out — and requires extra help to keep it in good shape!   3. Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy!
